Alliance battles are fights between Luxons and Kurzicks. Our guild is Luxon, so you'll hopefully be kicking kurzick ass!
It is probabely the most accesible form of PvP, as the actions of an individual rarely influence victory or loss. Small mistakes or imprefections are also of a rediculously low impact for a PvP area.
Generally, this is a good area for random fun and testing out builds.
If you win you are rewarded both balthazar faction and luxon or kurzick faction, but the latter ones can be obtained quicker in PvE.

General SetupYou get to choose 3 teammates to join you. 3 teams of 4 will gather on each side. In other words, it's a 12v12 fight.
The maps contain many shrines (guarded by NPC's) which will aid you in combat if you capture them.
Points are obtained by killing ennemies and capturing shrines. The more shrines you posess when making a kill, the more points you get for that kill. Killing an NPC will aid your score.
You ARE ressurected after dying. This at your team base OR at a ressurection shrine.
1st side to get 500 points wins.

Victory TacticsVictory here is usually determined by the amount of leavers. Many people tend to leave early in the game here, so not unoften one team is found to be heavily outmanned.
If this is not the case, the best way of winning is to stick together in groups of 4 and capture shrines. AVOID ENNEMIES. The groups should have quick heavy AOE damage (eg. rodgort's invocation) and increased movement speed (eg. Flaming Djinn's Haste).
Due to the NPC's being weak and the amount of shrines seriously determining who will win (every 7 seconds your team gets 1 point per shrine you control), this is the most succesful tactic. Ennemy players will only slow you down.
Also keep in mind that the resurrection shrine is the most important one, and that it is VERY wise to let elite NPC's follow you.
